Fund Structure
Farmland Value Ventures Fund I is a limited liability company (LLC). Investors in the fund will be partial owners of the LLC. Ownership share will be assigned based on the relative value of each investment.
Advisory Board
Large investors seeking to have additional input on the direction of their investment may be asked to join the advisory board. Members of the advisory board will work with the fund managers and assist in decision making. The advisory board will not only offer additional security to investor funds, but also provide a wider range of experience and perspectives to the fund management.
Investment Risk
As with any investment, membership in this fund is not without risk. The value and performance of the fund’s farmland investments are subject to various market conditions, including but not limited to economic recessions, changes in interest rates, inflation, and fluctuations in commodity prices. These factors can adversely affect the demand for and value of farmland assets, potentially leading to reduced income and capital appreciation for the fund.
